Country Manager Morocco

Reports to: Business Unit Director Africa (BUD) of Nipro Medical Europe (NME)

Overview Job Objectives

Under the guidance and directions of the BUD, the role the role holder is responsible for sustaining and growing the existing business within Morocco. He/she is responsible for successfully managing all aspects of the NME business and will be held responsible in further growing the business and expanding our presence through implementing successfully the strategy.

The role holder is accountable, as a representative of the company, for all commercial activities within scope of responsibility and all administrative tasks that are accompanying the responsibility of a country manager.

He/she will be responsible in building up a complete supporting team, follow up the local distributor(s) whereby he/she will have further personal contact with key actors in the local market (including healthcare authorities/ministries) and overlooking day-to-day management of business operations.

He/she has an understanding of the Medical industry and will adapt where necessary the overall business strategy for Morocco together with the BUD.  At the same time the country manager will align the different departments to make sure that the country specific objectives can be achieved and moved forward; in correspondence with the NME targets.

The country manager sets the personal and business objectives, effectively manages overall business performance, for all functional areas, in order to achieve agreed business goals and objectives.  He/she is accountable for the overall financial business performance within Morocco and its surrounding countries; whereby he/she effectively manages the country profit and loss, prepares the country budget and will bear end responsibility for the OP.   He/she manages and monitors business performance against budget and he/she provides timely and accurate management reporting to BUD.

Through effective management of the team and monitoring of its performance, against agreed objectives, he/she leads the team to the achievement of business objectives.
He/she will lead by example and guide, coach and lead individuals and teams to the achievement of their personal and functional goals – so that the required standard is met.


  • Good communication skills
  • Energetic and engaged person with big sense of responsibility and ownership with a “Can-do mentality”
  • Entrepreneurial Sales & People manager with a minimum of 8 years of experience in managing an experienced team in a commercial setting
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of Business development/key account management in Morocco
  • Established experience in the renal field
  • Ability to think out of the box
  • Ability to stimulate and support people in a constructive way
