Sales Manager PharmaPackaging (DACH region)

Reports to: Regional Sales Director PharmaPackaging

Location: Nipro PharmaPacking, Münnerstadt, Germany

Overview

In cooperation and under the guidance and directions of the Regional Sales Director, the Sales Manager will be responsible for the achievement of the agreed commercial targets within his/her assigned geographical region – DACH.

Accountabilities

  • He/she manages existing accounts within the assigned region as well as leads business development initiatives in order to drive sales growth and diversification
  • Develops an in-depth knowledge of the assigned accounts and prospects within his/her area of responsibility and builds network with key decision makers to identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Leads negotiations and ensures compliance with contractual commitments
  • In cooperation with the Regional Sales Director, he/she develops a yearly budget for the assigned region in line with the divisional growth objectives
  • Provides monthly rolling sales forecasts and highlights opportunities and threats as well as identifies and executes the necessary corrective actions in case of deviations
  • Flawless cooperation and communication with other departments; Marketing, Operations, Technical and Scientific Support, Customer Service and QA/QC
  • Contributes to market intelligence initiatives
  • Perform all tasks in accordance with ISO quality requirements while taking Nipro values into account.
  • Attend industry conferences, exhibitions and other related events

Profile

  • Minimum bachelor degree
  • Minimum 3-5 years of B2B sales experience, with a clear focus on account management and prospection activities
  • Experience in the PharmaPackaging, medical device and/ or Pharmaceutical industry is a plus, not a must
  • You have a self-employed mentality, and are committed to challenging tasks
  • You are above all customer oriented, pragmatic, showing excellent communication skills combined with a healthy dose of assertiveness
  • You are result-oriented and passionate about closing deals
  • You are always eager to learn and develop yourself further
  • You are stress resistant and willing to travel frequently (up to 40%)
  • Being fluent in English and German is a must
